Product Description
Oak-tanned leather collars to protect wooden oars. They include wrap-around leather straps to form buttons (stops) at the handle end of the collar. They are easy to install and very durable.
Complete instructions are provided. The set includes two oar leathers, two leather buttons (stops), a nail punch for making stitching holes, needles, waxed cord and two ring nails for securing the buttons.
The collars are 165 mm (6½″) long and 2 mm thick and they fit oars up to 55 mm (2⅛″) in diameter (175 mm circumference).
To help preserve and lubricate your oar collars, we recommend tallow oar collar lubricant, which will make them last much longer.
