The smallest in the Protruar range, this 12 V motor still packs a real punch. It produces equivalent thrust to a 2 HP petrol outboard without the noise, pollution or servicing costs. It has a heavy duty sealed brushless motor for efficient power conversion and zero maintenance.

Suitable for boats up to 6 m (19 ft) in length, in saltwater or freshwater, it is ideal for a small tender or as auxiliary power for a sailing dinghy or rowing boat. It is also suitable for canoes, using a motor mount bracket that fits across the gunwales.

It has a contoured rubber handle for a comfortable grip, even in wet conditions. Twisting the handle provides smooth, stepless speed control in both forward and reverse. The telescopic tiller extends up to 400 mm for easy reach while keeping your weight forward to maintain optimal waterline trim. It has a steering lock to prevent freewheeling. When the lock is released, the motor can be steered through 360°.

The integrated depth collar makes it easy to adjust the immersion depth for use in deeper or shallower water. The tilt bracket allows the motor to be tilted to 10 different positions. The lifting tiller also tilts vertically through 180°. An integral motor fin helps to protect the propeller from underwater impact in shallow water.

The Digimax digital speed controller maximises runtime in water and conserves battery use at any power setting. It enables higher power conversion efficiency than trolling motors. The top of the motor includes a three level LED battery monitor, calibrated for Lead Acid batteries. Lithium batteries often have a built-in battery monitor or require a separate one.

It has a durable cast aluminium shaft, 660 mm long, and the whole motor weighs only 6.3 kg (excluding battery).

The motor can be secured to the transom by putting a padlock through the holes in the clamp screws.

Supplied with sacrificial anodes (and spares) suitable for both salt and freshwater use. A user manual and propeller fixing kit are also included.

Recommended battery: 12 V, 105 Ah Deep Cycle (Leisure) battery or higher. Battery not included.

The motor is CE certified and comes with a 2 Year RTB warranty. All serviceable parts are stocked in the Haswing UK distribution centre.
