Product Description

This lithium battery is perfect for a small electric outboard motor on a tender or other small boat. Lithium batteries are much smaller and lighter than lead acid batteries so are easier to fit on the boat and don't use up as much of the boat's load capacity. The battery case is a sealed waterproof box, so a few splashes won't hurt, but try to keep the terminals clean and dry. It's usually best to place the battery forward in the boat to keep it on a level trim.

We sell the battery together with a lithium-compatible charger. A charger designed for lead-acid batteries is not suitable.

Please note that the charger is not waterproof and should not be used outdoors.

LiFePO4 Lithium Deep Cycle Battery

The battery has a built-in BMS (Battery Management System) that prevents overcharging and over discharging and keeps the individual cells healthy. The charge level can be monitored by a smartphone with bluetooth.
