Product Description
The Carlisle Beavertail is a quality wooden canoe paddle with an attractive rounded paddle blade shape. Made from lightweight basswood, it is laminated for durability and finished with a long-lasting polyurethane coating. It also has a urethane tip guard to protect the end of the blade from wear.
The shaft is ergonomically designed and has a contoured grip on the end for easy paddling.
A quick way to work out what paddle shaft length will be most comfortable for you (but err on the short side):
Kneeling: The distance from your shoulder to the top of your knee.
Paddling sitting: When sitting, the distance of your eyes to the seat.
