Product Description
The TriRAID 560s Mk. III is a light and fast adventure trimaran designed for raid competitions such as the R2AK or the Everglades Challenge.
The boat can carry one or two people and has space for one person to sleep in the main hull.
The boat is built using the stitch-and-glue method for simple and fast construction. The outriggers are attached to telescopic beams made of aluminium tubes. The boat can be disassembled for transport on a car roof rack.
The rig uses a square-head mainsail and a furling jib. Steering can be a foot-control system or a push-pull tiller.
The pivoting centreboard is completely concealed beneath the self-draining cockpit floor, providing a full-width sleeping platform for one person.
For auxiliary power, a small electric motor would be suitable or a Hobie Mirage Drive can be fitted for raid competitions. The drawing for the required installation bay for the Mirage drive is included in the plans.
